The conversation covered two topics that seem to have little in common at first glance: animal rights. And the question of how people can go into retirement well prepared.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>The common denominator: looking where others look away<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Animal rights work means making visible a reality that many would rather ignore. Not out of malice, but because it is uncomfortable to look closely.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Something very similar happens with retirement. Companies have processes for almost everything \u2013 onboarding, promotions, training. For the biggest transition in a person&#8217;s working life, however, there is often: nothing. Maybe a card. A cake. An appointment to return the laptop.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Both topics share the same basic question: who do we really pay attention to \u2013 and who not?<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>How WorkDone.Works came about<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In the interview, Daniel talks about how the idea for WorkDone.Works came about. Not from an abstract market analysis, but from a very personal question that has been with him since his mid-thirties: what would actually change if you stopped working now?<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This question led him deeper into topics such as identity, structure and meaning than he had first expected \u2013 and showed him how little companies talk about this transition, even though it affects almost everyone at some point.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>And his path to animal rights activism<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The second part of the conversation is more personal than you might first expect.
